Who are you?

A mother, ,wife, husband, father, cousin, sister, brother, colleague, friend, grandmother, grandfather, acquaintance, artist, writer, entrepreneur, daughter, son, only you will know and when you forget your loved ones will remind you.

Your role in life will change according to what your focus is at any given time.  Compassion, empathy and forgiveness are all good ingredients to achieve success in all that you do. Similarly divine detachment is also relevant to avoid feelings of loss when challenges force you to make changes to your daily or regular routine.

The idea of  " Who you are" and "Your Purpose in life" holds great fascination for the ordinary person, the spiritual scriptures (from all denominations), academics (of various persuasions), artists, authors and musicians. Here are some favourites:

5. The Christian bible: Ones purpose in life is to grow in character. The type of person you become is more important than your successes and failures in the world i.e.

'…But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control…'(Galatians 5:22-23).
